Working with Event-based Action Object
Adding an Event-based Action Object
A new Action Object (AO) can be added as follows:

Within the CSense Runtime Manager, select Event-based Action Objects from the list of available Action Object types.

Click [Add].

Select the required data recipe file, with a .drcp file extension, or Architect blueprint file, with a .mgd file extension.

Click [Open] to add this AO to the list of event-based AOs.

AOs are listed in alphabetical order, which can be sorted to either ascending or descending order.
Note: Execution of Event-based Action Objects is governed by the limit to the number of concurrently executable action objects defined for Scheduled Action Objects in the Proficy CSense Run-time Properties dialog box.
Exporting Event-based Action Object(s)
You can export a single or multiple Event-based Action Objects and back up them to use later. If the selected Action Object is a blueprint, it is exported as a .mgd file; if it is a recipe, it is exported as a .drcp file.
To export Event-based Action Object(s), perform the following:

Select the Action Object(s) as needed.
Alternatively, to multi-select, press and hold ctrl, and then select the Action Objects(s) as needed, or press ctrl+A to select all the listed Action Objects. -
Click Export.

If you selected a single Action Object, the Save As dialog box appears.

Select the preferred location to save the exported file.

Click Save.

If you selected multiple Action Objects, the Browse For Folder dialog box appears.

Select the preferred location to save the exported file.

Click OK.
The exported Action Object(s) are saved in the selected location.
NOTE: If files with the same name already exist in the location, you will be prompted to confirm whether to replace the existing files with the new files. Click Yes to replace or No to cancel the export.

Removing an Event-based Action Object
In order to stop an executing Action Object:

Select the correct AO, and click [Remove].

You will be asked to confirm the removal. This will remove the Action Object from the Action Object Server.
